Aidan La Poche is a playwright and director born and raised in New York City.
His plays include Dennis (performed at Night Club 101, 255 Canal, and Playwrights Horizons Theater School at NYU Tisch), I AM MADONNA. I’VE ALWAYS BEEN MADONNA. FUCK YOU IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE, I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK, I AM MADONNA (Ant Fest at Ars Nova), Daughters of the Ruling Class (performed at The Stranger, 2024 finalist for the Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival), and Modelland (performed at the Vineyard’s Dimson Theater as a part of the 49th Annual Samuel French Short Play Festival, Broke People Play Festival). Aidan’s play Barbra Streisand was a 2024 and 2025 semi-finalist for the Jewish Plays Project.
As a director, Aidan’s work has also been presented by Irvington Theater, Drama Club, the ALab Theater Festival, and The Tank.
